Be Strong and Very Courageous...

Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.  Joshua 1:9b

Happy Monday!

I am off and running into a new week!  I had a great weekend, that culminated into a wonderful Father's Day celebration with my husband and family.  My husband is blessed to be able to hold two titles - Father and Grandfather - and he is doing a fabulous job handling both of those roles.

Last week, I started a new method of trying to handle all the different roles I have taken on...mother, grandmother, home business woman by evening, IT professional by day, romance novelist, inspirational blogger, etc...I think that's all of them.  It's all about time allocation.  I realize it will take awhile until I can feel totally comfortable with this new technique, but this method should be much better than trying to do a little bit of every role, every evening.  That gets tired after awhile...which is probably why I crashed Sunday afternoon/evening and ended up 'napping' for about 3 1/2 hours.  Whew!

The opening verse was from my daily bible reading and I thought I would share it.  "Be strong and very courageous..." fits just about every situation we may find ourselves in, from dealing with rush hour traffic, to the many daily life struggles that are wearing on us.  Life is not easy.  Sometimes circumstances are thrust in our lives that we had not anticipated and we have to find a new way of dealing with things...finding a new normal.  But God's word says that we will have trials and tribulations, however it also says He will walk with us through these difficult times.  I believe that with my whole heart and I am praying you do too.  "Be strong and very courageous..."  We will get through these times!

Just don't lose your heavenly connection...stay in prayer...stay focused.

Have a blessed Monday!
