I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13
OK...I am writing this with JR on my lap! This will surely be an adventure!
"I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength...I don't have to be strong enough".
Those are some of the words to the song I was listening to on the way home from work on Wednesday. I believes someone needs to hear/read that. Is that you?
What a trying year this has been so far for many of us. But no matter how weak we may have felt, God is ultimately stronger. You may not have all you feel you want, but by God's grace and mercy...He has given you all you need. Do I hear Amen?
I know I have not written in awhile...I've been super busy, almost to the point of feeling overwhelmed. But God...He always has found a way for me to get through all these seemingly endless 'challenges'. Even writing this is rather a challenge...but alas, here is JR's Uncle William to rescue me for a moment. Yay! God is good. This is much easier with two hands...LOL!
What always helps me when I am feeling out of sorts is to start counting my blessings and thinking about those people who only wish they had the things that I have. 1-the ability to spend many hours a week with my grandchildren, 2-use of my legs ---even with the varicose veins, 3-fabulous natural hair style that lets me work out, deal with the humidity, etc. and keeps on doing its thing, 4-a sort of thriving home business (it will be soon, if my district manager has anything to say about it, 5- a sort of 9 - 5 job that I absolutely love. I say sort of, because the last few weeks, I have put in more than the normal 40 hour week. But that's ok...I LOVE MY JOB!
Any, these are just a few of the many blessings God has showered my way.
It's your turn. What are some of the rather unusual blessings God has showered you with? I would love to hear.
The main reason I listed my blessings was to show that no matter what you are going through, God is still in the 'blessing business' and will continue to send them...you just have to recognize them for what they are.
You are richly blessed even in the mess you may believe you are in!
