Keep on keeping on...

Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as you know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.  1 Corinthians 15:58

Welcome to a new work week!  Yay!

What a wonderfully HOT weekend we just finished!  The only thing that would have made mine better was if my air conditioning system had not died on Friday night.  Ugh!  Now, I know how the other half lives with no central air.  Unfortunately, everything in the household has to continue moving as if we were all just fine.  If you know about my physical condition, you know that this could be a recipe for a miserable weekend.  Somehow though, I managed to stay relatively calm throughout the entire weekend...drinking lots of water, having cold cloths on my neck, and staying connected to the Lord.  In my power, I would have been a mess and would have no doubt made everyone in my household as miserable as I would have been.  God kept me sane and calm through the major heat wave that flowed through my home.  I am thankful for my natural hairstyle...any other style would have died in this house!  I just continued to focus on doing what I needed to do and not focusing on the surrounding circumstances.  Besides, as I always am quick to tell others, my getting worked up or irritated about my circumstances, would not change them...so why do it?  Exactly.

So, what situation has got you stressing over it?  You will make it through...just keep on doing the right thing.  This too shall pass.  Your breakthrough is on its way.  Just remember to be thankful for what you do have right now and that there are those out there who have it worse.  Do what you can and let God handle the overflow.  A little sweat never hurt anyone...right?  Of course right!

Have a blessed Monday!
