So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:7
Good morning all!
It is 5:43 am and the birds are serenading me in the background! Kind of nice!
Anyway, I am not sure if all of you are aware that I have been steadily working on my fourth manuscript since the beginning of this year. This past Sunday, I actually sent the finished manuscript off to my publisher/agent. And I received word via email that it has been received and that they will be reviewing it and will get back to me within two weeks. Needless to say, I am a bit nervous while I 'sit' and wait to hear what they have to say about my latest 'baby'. My personal editor and I have painstakingly reviewed each chapter, but now 'The Girl Next Door' is in their hands and I just have to be patient and wait. As many of you may know...Patience is not my strong suit! However, we all also know that God is in control and He will turn the results His way.
I have planted, Apollos watered; but God that giveth the increase. 1 Corinthians 3:6
As much as we would like to control the entire process, know that we, in our own strength, can only go so far. We have to trust God to take it the rest of the way. I have done the outline, written the story, my editor has reviewed it...now it's on God to take it the rest of the way.
This same philosophy goes with what we all do in our own personal lives. We have 'projects' that we can only go so far with and then we have to trust God to take it the rest of the way. We have to believe in God...have faith.
Is there something going on in your lives that you are not sure how it will end? You are not sure how to get to the next step? You don't know where to go from here? You know something needs to be done...but you are at a loss as to how to make it happen. Turn it over to God...we can only go so far, then it is time to hand Him the baton and let Him take it the last lap. God is the best anchor leg I know of! He will finish it off and He will get the Glory!
Let Go and Let God!
Have a blessed Tuesday!
