Be the Light...

Remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is none else; I am God and there is none like me, Declaring the end from the beginning, and from ancient times the things that are not yet done, saying, My counsel shall stand and I will do all my pleasure.  Isaiah 46:9-10

Happy Thursday!

I am so pumped...I can not type fast enough.  I decided to wash the few dishes first, but while I was washing I felt the Lord putting words after words in my head.  I couldn't wait to get to my computer.  I am really not sure which ones He wants me to write first.  My hands are literally shaking...making it somewhat difficult to type. Of course, having this nice manicure is not helping either.  But, I was so focused on what we would do for you today.  'Let your little light shine' for those around you.  Come out of yourselves and shower your fellow man/woman with prayer.  There is always some one else who is going through something worse than what you are.  There was a commercial on television just before I turned it off about a man who was slowly regaining the use of his right hand after a stroke...it was shaky, but he could still use it.  That's a miracle!  That's nothing but God.

The Lord told me to just open my bible and use whatever verse is highlighted on that page in my blog.  That's the opening verse.  Believe it or not, that verse is just barely highlighted, but it caught my eye.  God's plan in action.  I hate to admit this, but I get a trifle bit nervous when asked to do that.  The flesh in me worries for a mite second that there might not be a highlighted verse on the page I open up.  God says...'trust me...just do it'.  Oh my gosh...I felt the spirit so fiercely that I had a major hot flash.  I had to open the window.  It was absolutely amazing!  God is AWESOME!

The last thought I received was because you all are so responsive to me, I am going to ask another favor.  Wouldn't it be great if we prayed for each other?  We prayed at church this evening and I was so lifted during my prayer session that I felt like I had left myself and was floating...no words...no body sense...no nothing...just out there, clear.  I don't know how else to explain it.

So if you all would write one thing that you would like prayers for, I will include them...generically, of course, in Friday's blog entry.  Then you, my fellow subscribers can go to the Lord on someone else's behalf and pray...just lift another person's prayer request to the Lord.  We all know that the prayers of the righteous availeth much.  You can never have too many people praying for you.  This would be your Easter gift to your fellow subscribers!

I'll start...my prayer request is...Lord, please continue to feed me your words so I can continue to encourage your people. Please never let me forget where my help comes from.  Let me always give you the glory for the words that inspire, encourage and uplift.  Lord...just help me to continue to seek your face...In Jesus Christ's name I pray...Amen.

I love you all!
